Exquisitely Angora rabbitry
Exquisitely Angora Rabbitry is located on Shear Retreat Farm, about one hour west of St. Louis, Missouri. We pride ourselves in raising top quality German Angora rabbits from 2006 import lines and show quality Giant Angora rabbits. In addition, we are working on introducing color diversity into the German lines by breeding high producing hybrid lines without white markings.
The angora wool produced by these rabbits is gently harvested every three months from each animal and spun and dyed for the knitters yarn market. We lovingly take care of our animals in return for the wonderful fiber they provide us.

News Flash:
Rosalie registered 4 does and 1 buck at the Winter Midwest Shearing Party at Sue Wiley’s home. Rosalie’s Karisma scored the highest points (98) and Rosalie’s Klaudia had the top shearing number with an AGW of over 1700g.
Congrats to all the bunnies and may they have many babies!

A white and an agouti rabbit pair does produce blue socks. However, these machine washable socks were made from the wool that the white animals produced. The socks were hand dyed by Rosalie and will be available on www.etsy.com/shop/chicyarn
